A Genius Man Who Made Apple – Steve Jobs biography
Who is not aware of the genius of the century, who changed technology forever- Steve Jobs. The man who created Apple was a born genius whose legacy is one of its kind that impacted the whole world.
Steve Jobs was the chairman, CEO, and co-founder of Apple Inc along with Steve Wozniak. He was the person who revolutionized the world of computers.
Steven Paul Jobs was born February 24, 1955, in San Francisco, the United States of America to Joanne Carol Schieble and Abdul Fattah Jandali, a Syrian immigrant. They were still the unmarried couple.
Schieble’s father was not ready for this marriage and his biological single mother was too young to take up the responsibility of another human being and therefore.
she decides to give Steve Jobs for adoption totally unaware that this individual would eventually grow up into a legend.
Steve Jobs was, therefore, adopted by Paul Jobs and Clara Jobs who brought him up in an environment is surrounding in machines and computers. Steve Jobs was a very unique individual. He wasn’t average but a born genius.
He used to work with his father in his family garage of cars where he started loving machines and paying attention to each and every detail, a mantra that exists in Apple even today.
At the age of 12, he offers a summer internship in HP by the founder Bill Hewlett.
Steve Jobs never really enjoyed formal education but continued attending classes that were interesting to him. One was calligraphy.
Eventually, he got a job in a video game manufacturing company, Atari. Later he went to India and traveled in and around Delhi, UP and Himachal Pradesh.
Jobs studied Indian religion and returned home as a Buddhist. After that, he continued to live a very simplified life practicing Zen Buddhism.
Because of his diversified experiences, his ideology of counterculture is seen later in his business too.
Then came a phase in the life of this great inventor when he collaborated with Steve Wozniak to find the world’s largest IT Company and change the picture of computers and technology forever.
They started “blue box” which was a digital device to make long distance calls for free. Its success gave the birth of “Apple”.
To raise funds, they relentlessly work in Jobs’ father garage and used to sell their gadgets from there.
Steve Jobs worked tirelessly to find investors until Intel agreed to fund them. Soon Apple became popular and was already a newsmaker in the country.
Steve Jobs was already $100 million men when he was just 25 and was the youngest richest person as per the Forbes list.
Later there was the biggest setback in his professional life when he was betrayed by his own hired John Sculley who was Pepsi executive and encouraged the board of Apple to fire Jobs from Macintosh group.
But some people are the legends and so was Steve Jobs. He didn’t give up and established a new company NeXT.
Later NeXT merged with Apple to give way to iOS.
Jobs was doing wonderfully well but his thirst to make bigger made him invested in Graphics Group now called as Pixar.
He remained a majority stakeholder in Pixar. Steve Jobs became the board of directors of The Walt Disney Group Company which later acquired Pixar.
However, life had to offer him pain and anguish when he is diagnosing with a rare form of pancreatic cancer. He famously declined any medical treatment instead started with naturopathies like the vegan diet, acupuncture and herbal juices.
He resigned from the post of Apple CEO when after a few years. Steve Jobs could not work normally but he continued to work in Apple till his last breath. He died with those last great words that suit him- “Oh Wow!”
Steve Jobs left this world on October 5, 2011, at the age of 56 in California.
However, his legacy continues to live that shows what a great impact he has left on us. Oh Wow!!!!
