The Monk and Boy – Inspirational Story with Moral
This is the Monk and Boy Inspirational Story with Moral. The Monk taught boy life-changing Lesson. there was a boy who was living with his parents happily, in a small town.
He was, as usual, like all boys in his age group; mischievous, playful and at the same time with good qualities of helping others.
He had an ambition of becoming a martial arts professional, and he began to admire himself as a superhero, in his growing ages and savior of his hometown.
He expressed his ambition and desire for his parents. His parents (like every parent) denied and try to divert his mind towards studying well and scoring good marks in his school.
Though he couldn’t realize this affectionate diversion, his days passed by with the pain of sorrow at his heart’s bottom.
One day, when the family was having a trip around their hometown, enjoying themselves in their car, they met a terrible accident, nearby a village. The boy’s father, mother, and sister had died on the spot.
But this boy had somehow, touched death and returned as a result of that touch, lost his left hand and became unconscious.
As the road was nearby a forest, there was no one to rescue him. By that time a monk was passing by. He saw the crumpled car and its victims.
The monk found that the boy was alive and only he could be saved. He decided to give asylum to that boy and joined him in his small monastery.
When the boy became conscious, he was deeply sad about that incident. The monk consoled him and said that he can live in that monastery.

Days passed and the boy found that the monk was also a Kung-fu master and he was finding the right student to teach it.
The boy, humbly requested the monk whether he could be his disciple. He also expressed that it was his dream to become a ‘superhero’ to save the world.
The monk thought for a while and then agreed and, said: “But, On two conditions”.
1st: I will not start from basics, or any level wise training for you. I will teach only one technique, which you need to practice for years, with that and only that repetitively.
2nd: You shall not ask the reason behind the first condition. When the time comes, it will be revealed. “, the monk said.
The boy, devoid of his parent’s sad demise, now he was happy at his bottom his heart, as he has taken the first step to achieve his dream.
Years passed by, and the boy practiced the technique ferociously with full attitude. he had attained a professional level of perfection in the execution of that technique.
The Monk and Boy – Inspirational Story with Moral
the monk though becomes aged, guided the boy well and took care of him, like a son. They, once heard about a global level martial arts tournament and the monk decided to make the boy participate in that.
The boy, first denied, as he had known he knows just only one technique and moreover, he had to fight without a left hand.
But the monk consoled him, gave him confidence and made him participate in the tournament. To his surprise, the boy had easily won the prelims and entered into the quarterfinals.
Then again, without losing his confidence, he fought with that single known technique, with full aggression and he got qualified into the semis too. The same story happened in the semis and he won and got selected for the finals.
When he came to know about his final opponent, he found that the opponent was holding an unbeaten record in the tournament. He was shattered and lost his confidence.
He again sought the monk for his fear of defeat. The monk consoled him again and asked him to give his best, with what he knows. Next day, during the finals, to everyone’s surprise, the boy had beaten the unbeaten opponent and was crowned the champion.
He was delighted and received the shield with modesty. He then took the championship shield to the monk, to seek his blessings. The monk blessed him.
Now the boy humbly asked,” I think this is the right time to know the reason for my success”. The monk smiled. The boy again asked his question about anxiety.
Then the monk replied, “My son..! There is one reason for your victory…
The technique which you have practiced for years is the most toughest technique in martial arts. Only professional fighters have made it know and learn it, that too even after years of practice. This had made you dash out your opponents in prelims, quarters and semis.”
“But, how about the final ? Such a terrible and unbeaten finalist like him, could definitely knock me out easily, in this condition…?”, the boy interrupted.
The monk said, “My son…To defend the technique which you have known, the only way is that the opponent has to grab, hold and block the other person’s left hand, which is the one you DO NOT have”.
